Monday again....:( Everything starts right from the begining and if you had a good weekend the probabilty of absorbing the shock of monday morning is lower than if you had to work on saturday or sunday. Anyway...Loking over the window I see people walking fast trying to catch the bus and drivers in a hurry to get to their work places. Looking at all that comotion on the street it kind of reminds me of watching a race...So I googled for some racing posters from the past....

Awesome retro facebook like images

It is not a secret. I am trying to make this blog more popular and I was thinking when I some free time to install a like button for Facebook. I was thinking that keeping the traditional and conventional facebook like button would be a bit trivial so I looked up in google for some interesting images that would give the layout the desired retro spirit. So I found this article that offered many types of retro facebook like images. Many thanks to the author for the images.

Retro style and modern printed adds

I just saw this interesting post at Cruzine showing some really interesting posters of modern events which are made in retro style. There are several printed adds retro style that realy catch the spirit of the printed design a few and not that few years back in time. This stuff could be realy good inspirational source of designers who have to design printed adds for events like concerts, exhibitions, parties and etc.

After the post when I talked about how an ancient advertisment of facebok would look like I found a couple of more retro posters that show interesting design from the fifties of Twitter and YouTube.

Retro Twitter Poster

I realy like the device that the man holds in his hands. A perfect example of smartphone from the past.

And here is the YouTube poster that says:
Send and watch splendid and captivating films, 24/7. Sports, news, commercials and much more. The most charming and magnificent way to entertain the whole family.

Cofee is our friend

Friday morning again. Yes. The last day of the week and I feel so tired every friday. Just another 8 hours and than the fun begins. But wouldn't it be nice to have something magical to keep us going during the day? Well...coffee does the job for me. Brandles advertisment of cofee.
But wait.....A cup of hot and aromatic coffee is the greatest you could get with breakfast but first someone's gotta make it for you. Well wife or husband bring you the coffee would be nice but you may not have yet met the person who would love to do that for you so you'd have to do it by yourself. In that case a coffe maker would be extremly useful. Here's one that may do the job for you.

Facebook has been into our lives for I guess quite a while now and we are all so used with it. Personaly I carry it in my pocket so to say everywhere I go and it is quite usefull for knowing what is going on around you and who goes where and who thinks what. But I am catching my self sometimes thinking about what would it be if Facebook was born in the fifties instead of the dawn of the new millenium. Well, obviously some other people have done that aswell and here is how they see it.
